Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing a suite of Energy Efficiency Programs with primary focus on the Residential sector. This includes supervision of at least two direct reports, contracts with vendors, all aspects of quality control, all aspects of customer relationship management and meeting regulatory requirements set forth for programs. Also responsible for achieving program investment and energy savings targets in a cost-effective manner within administrative cost budgets, and for developing financial and operational forecasts.
In addition to internal labor, the manager oversees large contracts for implementation. Identify opportunities for improving and standardizing business processes in all key functional areas to promote efficiency and work with process owners to implement those opportunities.
Manage the resolution of deficiencies in business processes to develop best practices and deployment of these practices. Overall responsibility for the safety, health, wellness, and environmental performance of the department. Provide leadership, personnel development, and overall direction to create/foster teamwork atmosphere in pursuit of Company goals and objectives.
Interact with counterparts at the NJ BPU and other electric and gas utilities regarding implementation strategy and operational business plans. Provide ombudsman support in overseeing mediation of customer/installer conflicts and disputes.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of project management, Customer Operations, or marketing practices experience, including demonstrated knowledge of energy efficiency processes, measures & techniques, construction, or related fields.
• In lieu of degree, must have at least 10 years of project management, Customer Operations, or marketing practices experience, including demonstrated knowledge of energy efficiency processes, measures & techniques, construction, or related fields.
• Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting, project controls and budgeting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage program vendors and other delivery contractors.
• Demonstrate ability to manage customer expectations and build customer relationships.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & MS Word)
• Excellent written and verbal skill set.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the utility industry, appropriate regulations, and applicable Board Orders.
• Strong analytical and financial skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills; must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
