Valex Corp is looking for a Facilities Manager to lead it's team of facilities personnel, including maintenance mechanics, electronic technicians, janitor(s), wastewater handler(s), etc in our Ventura, CA location. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: development and implementation a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all production equipment and supporting infrastructure; scheduling and oversight of routine maintenance activities ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency; utilization of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and manage maintenance work orders, asset history, and inventory; completion of special projects as assigned; and support other foreign and domestic locations (some travel required). You will also collaborate with the Safety team to establish and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or another related field. You must have proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. You must have a strong knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and environmental compliance. You must have excellent organizational and project management skills, and must have strong written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal skills. This is a regular, exempt position with a salary range of $100k/yr - $140K/yr depending on experience.
Must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.
