Product Manager (Location:San Francisco, in-person 4 days/week)

TheRoleThe Product Manager will drive the product evolution of Verse’s Ariasoftware platform. Product development is an extremely collaborative effortbetween engineering, design, and customer-facing teams. You’ll be joining a smallteam of experts who have helped build and implement successful softwareproducts and clean energy programs at companies such as Stripe, Google, Fluence,SolarCity, and Tesla.

This role will work in an agile environment and focus on definingproduct requirements, ensuring quick iterations, testing, development ofsoftware solutions, and effective maintenance of and updates to softwaresolutions that meet strategic objectives. The Product Manager will ensure that Ariais user-friendly and aligns with customer needs, facilitating seamless dataintegration and robust decision support capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps,ensuring alignment with the company's vision and business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing,sales, and customer success teams to deliver product enhancements and newfeatures on time.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from Internal teams andother stakeholders to inform product decisions and prioritize features.
  • Own the pipeline of requests from internal and externalstakeholders
  • Define clear SaaS product metrics and goals, and reporton performance and insights to the leadership team.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful productlaunches and continuous improvement post-launch.
  • Clearly specify and document product requirements,including user stories and acceptance criteria, to be implemented byengineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, orrelated field.
  • 3-5 years in software product development within a startup/growthenvironment, with at least two years of experience specifically in productmanagement.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills,including the ability to pivot quickly based on new information.
  • The ability to parse complex data to ask engineers the right questions and make informeddecisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
  • You’re familiar with agile development methodologies andexperience guiding software projects from conception to completion.

  • You think strategically but deliver on the details.
  • Experience with clean energy technologies or procurementa plus.
