POSITION DESCRIPTION
Currently, HGL (HydroGeologic, Inc.) is seeking an Environmental Field Technician 1 to support the Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Group 2 Demolition Project on Aberdeen Proving Ground (Edgewood Area), MD. This project is associated with the demolition of former laboratories and process buildings supporting the tenants of APG. The project also involves environmental, waste, and confirmation sampling of various media; and disposal of various hazardous and non-hazardous materials derived from the demolition processes.
Responsibilities/Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The successful candidate will be responsible for execution of environmental field tasks and related office work. Tasks are supportive in nature and may deal with an array of activities, including environmental sampling, data entry, report generation, and various other activities to support the demolition and sampling activities. The candidate will assist and interface with other field personnel including environmental scientists and UXO technicians, as well as other project and company representatives through meetings or site visits.
