Who You Are

Prowess Consulting is looking for a Technical Project Manager with continuous delivery software delivery model experience to join our growing team. As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of software projects with our client’s organization that has recently adopted a continuous delivery model. Your primary responsibility will be to keep the delivery of ongoing releases on track by closely collaborating with software engineering teams to address open bugs, identify and mitigate gaps and risks to help ensure releases occur following company policies and regulatory compliance obligations.

This is a 6-month contract hybrid role that you will need to be on-site three (3) days per week.

The Role

As a Technical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of software projects within our client’s organization that has recently adopted a continuous delivery model. Your primary responsibility will be to keep the delivery of ongoing releases on track by closely collaborating with software engineering teams to address open bugs, identify and mitigate gaps and risks to help ensure releases occur following company policy and regulatory compliance obligations.

Release Project Management

  • closely with software engineering teams to identify and prioritize open bugs.

Qualifications

  • years of relevant experience in an IT Project Management role.
  • working within an organization that delivers software on a continuous delivery model desirable.
  • as a Technical Project Manager, preferably in software development focusing on the release of new software features and updates.
  • knowledge of bug tracking tools and methodologies such as Azure Dev Ops.
  • communication and leadership skills.
  • to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • with software development life cycles (SDLC).

Additional Details

  • The offered base pay range for this position is $110,000 – 120,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Full-time employees (defined as working 30 hours or more per week) within the US have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic life insurance, a 401K plan with matching, well-being benefits, education benefits, and other benefits.
  • Full-time employees based in the US receive 11 paid holidays per year, in addition to accruing paid time off based on tenure.
