AgentSync is Hiring a Senior Salesforce Automation QA Engineer Near Denver, CO

Remote in: CA, CO, Washington DC, FL, GA, IL, IA, IN, KS, MA, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TX, UT, VA, WA
AgentSync Manage is a managed package built on the Salesforce platform, leveraging many aspects of the current platform and pushing the edges of what is possible within the ecosystem. We treasure customer experience, quality, and scalability as first-order principles. We are focused on simplifying the insurance industry using the power of the Salesforce platform, striving to create thoughtful, delightful user interfaces and seamless workflows. Behind the scenes, we build secure, scaled integrations into insurance compliance systems, simplifying the complexity of licensing data through translation into a more understandable, reportable data model.
As a Senior Automation QA Engineer, you will initially perform regular manual feature and regression testing on our Manage product that is built on the Salesforce platform. To ensure a stable and elegant deliverable for our customers, you will become an expert on the product. Then, you will work with other QA Engineers to develop an automation test strategy to reduce manual testing time and catch defects early in the development process. As part of our existing test infrastructure, you will write automated UI and API tests for regression, deployment, and smoke testing.
By working to build out and improve test plans, you enable the engineering team to have confidence in the features they are delivering. Insurance isn't easy, so expect to be getting technical with an industry that is still modernizing. Most importantly, you want to continually broaden your Salesforce knowledge, have a strong desire to grow your manual and automated testing skills and lead the overall testing effort.
What you'll do:
  • Build and execute feature test plans for our Salesforce managed package product through manual and automated testing
  • Design automation frameworks and lead the implementation of test strategy, test plans & test execution of the projects
  • Create automated and manual UI and API tests for regression, deployment, and smoke testing as part of our existing test infrastructure
  • Work with the Quality Assurance team, developers, Product Owners, and other team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of existing products and features
  • Train other QA Engineers to write automated tests following good design patterns, such as Page Object pattern
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to clarify business rules, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure the overall quality of coverage for the automated test solution
  • Be flexible to do both manual and automated testing based on the needs of the project
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices on our team
Your experience:
  • 5 years experience in building test cases and testing Salesforce and non-Salesforce applications and integrations (troubleshooting experience as a Salesforce Admin counts!)
  • Experience creating and executing manual and automated test plans and generating technical documentation
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment and setting up automated tests in a CI/CD pipeline
  • A mindset that considers the edge cases, application failures, and the life cycle of a build
  • Hands on experience with at least one automation solution like Selenium, Cypress or Robot Framework (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands on experience with API testing using tools like JMeter, Postman, Blazemeter (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with tools like SVN, Git, Eclipse, Maven and Jenkins (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience writing automation code in at least one programming language like Apex, Java, JavaScript, C# or Python (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with IDE's like Eclipse, IntellIj and Visual Studio Code (or equivalent experience)
Nice to have:
  • Experience working with BDD, TDD, ATDD using tools like Cucumber, SpecFlow and Behave
  • Experience working with performance and security testing tools is advantageous
