Back A Yard Caribbean Grill is looking for an experienced baker, with ambition to grow and support our continued successful operation. We have 6 restaurant locations between Palo Alto. Menlo Park and the San Jose area.

If you are an experienced baker, with an ownership mentality and have the education, experience and skillset to produce and work independently, then you are the candidate we are looking for.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

o Must be at least 18 years old.

o Ability to read, speak and comprehend English fluently.

o Focused on keeping bakery operations running in a smooth and efficient manner.

o Allergy awareness

o Catering experience helps.

o Independent worker

o run a streamlined operation that limits waste and satisfies customers—versed in gluten-free and allergy-safe baking.

o Skilled at baking Jamaican Patties/Empanadas, bread, pies, cakes, & pastries. 

o Understanding of cost controls and inventory management.

o This is a $22-$24/hour, full-time position.
