Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric APN to join our team in Vevay, IN, 47043. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychiatric care to patients with mental health disorders. The Psychiatric APN will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of each patient.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients with mental health disorders
• Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of each patient
• Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
• Provide counseling and therapy to patients and their families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Stay current with developments in the field of psychiatry

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatric nursing
• Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)
• Experience working as a Psychiatric APN
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
