If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.Job DescriptionAs our Junior Risk Analyst, you will:Perform empirically derived analysis to understand business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and develop strategies and recommendationsLeverage your strong quantitative, critical thinking, and communication skills in all of your projects and assignmentsBe accountable for the accurate construction and evaluation of data sets, graphs, and reportsPresent your work regularly to your team and to stakeholders, and provide supporting evidence for your recommendationsManage and manipulate large data sets using a variety of software packagesRecommend and evaluate test strategies with a focus on profitability and implementation Analyze underwriting strategies and criteria and develop strategies to improve portfolio performanceEffectively communicate analytical approach, relevant findings, and recommendations with supporting evidence throughout the organization Regularly audit all datasets, analysis and presentations for accuracyPerform ad-hoc queries and create ad-hoc reports to support analysisInteract with various business area managers on a regular basisQualificationsRequirements:A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or relatedfield or equivalent experienceExcellent problem solver, disciplined attention to detail, great communicatorStrong ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a cross-functional team to drive resultsIntermediate skills using Microsoft ExcelStrong quantitative skills and communication skills, both verbal and writtenSelf-starter with the ability to work independently or in a teamAbility to learn MS SQL Server (experience is preferred)Additional InformationReady to make the move to a new beginning with Genesis?
