Summary of Position: 

This position is responsible for providing secretarial and accounting support for the operations of the department. Some job duties include:

• Tracks and processes employee credit card transactions; updates and monitors accounts payable; codes, calculates and processes invoices.
• Processes department accounts receivable; prepares and processes monthly and annual billing.
• Processes security background checks for persons requiring airport access; fingerprints personnel.
• Calculates CPI increases for tenants.
• Schedules and coordinates meetings; makes travel arrangements for department personnel.
• Maintains and updates flight schedules.
• Maintains office supply inventory; reorders as needed.
• Establishes and maintains a variety of files and records.
• Drafts, composes and types memoranda, letters and other correspondence.
• Prepares a variety of regular and special reports.
• Performs related duties.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for 1-2 years.
• Must meet and maintain qualifications pursuant to 49 CFR Part 1542 (Unescorted Access Authority).
