KORE is Hiring a SEC Senior Reporting Manager Near Atlanta, GA

The SEC Senior Reporting Manager is the right hand person of the Senior Director SEC Reporting, responsible for leading in the integrity and accuracy of KOREs quarterly SEC Form 10-Q and annual SEC Form 10-K filings, as well as the annual Proxy filing and any other filings that may involve the group as delegated from Legal (i.e., 8-K). In addition, the SEC Senior Reporting Manager has a key role in technical accounting and has the ability to perform accounting research and independently arrive at conclusions regarding complex accounting matters, and draft technical accounting memos to the highest standard. The SEC Senior Reporting Manager is the successor and backfill to the Senior Director SEC Reporting, which is currently a role of critical single point of failure.This role is a hands-on leadership role, facilitating the efficient completion of our SEC filings and resolving highly complex technical accounting matters, with visibility to the c-suite at the Company.Core Responsibilities IncludeFinance DeliverablesProactively obtaining information and supporting documentation(s) from various parts of the company to ensure accurate and timely 10-K and 10-Q reporting;Preparing the RSU / stock compensation account reconciliations for review and approval, taking over the accounting for stock-based compensation from the GL group.Ownership of calculating EPS (basic and diluted) and balancing overall shares outstanding and available (RSU share pool).Business Process DeliverablesLeadership in the finance function, including: Owning the coordination of key internal relationships between External Reporting and GL group; (ii) executing on timely deliverables with internal and external auditors; (ii) key leadership in technical accounting matters; (iii) drafting and preparation of SEC filings; (iv) owning a significant role in designing and implementing SOX controls over ICFR. Customer (internal) deliverablesStrategic Thinking & Relationship Building: The tactical and strategic recommendations will include making and supporting judgments and assumptions relating to KOREs financial statements and disclosures. Other aspects will require the ability to influence key stakeholders and deliver superior customer service.Learning / Continuous Improvement deliverablesContinuously learning regarding FASB and SEC updates by both self-study options and conference attendance (Workiva Amplify conference, AICPAs PCAOB and SEC conference)Continuously improving KOREs Workiva experience by simplifying the WDesk workbook and enhancing any connectivity between NetSuite and WDesk.Maintain U.S.-based CPA certification in good standingLearning the Sr. Director- SEC Reportings position as back upREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Masters degree in an accounting related field (i.e., MBA)Current U.S. CPA licensePrior experience at a Big 4 or equivalentfirm (i.e., a previously recognized large pre-Big 4 legacy firm such as PriceWaterhouse, Arthur Andersen, Coopers & Lybrand), or national accounting firm (BDO, Grant Thornton) preferredMinimum 7 years of relevant technical accounting experience with U.S. GAAPMinimum 7 years SEC accounting and reporting requirementsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong independent and critical thinking skills with a problem-solving and forward-looking focusStrong interpersonal skills, with the engaging ability to explain technical accounting and SEC reporting requirements at all levelsPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Significant experience with WorkivaExperience with SOX 404 and internal controls over financial reportingSignificant experience with NetSuiteExperience with Equity Edge Online is a benefitExperience researching US GAAP and writing US GAAP technical accounting memosOther details:No significant supervisory responsibilities of individuals.No significant travel requirements; however, the ability to enter Canada with no restrictions is preferredWORKING CONDITIONSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
