Life Home Care is Hiring a Weekend On-call Client Care Coordinator Near Livingston, NJ

Life Home Care seeks for a weekend On-Call Staffing Coordinator to join our team.

The On-call Coordinator is responsible for handling client care and staffing during the hours the office is closed on Saturday and Sunday. The applicant must have the ability to multitask and communicate effectively with clients and family members frequently. This is a remote position. Candidate must be able to train in our Livingston Office upon hire.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of staffing experience - is a MUST!
  • Be available on weekends and major holidays to take calls and respond to urgent situations.
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to effectively react to urgent situations and manage upset callers.
  • Able to document and relay detailed information.
  • Basic computer knowledge including data entry and word processing.
  • Ability to read maps and provide directions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer weekend phone calls and emails with Ring-Central App and a company-provided laptop.
  • Coordinate staffing client shifts when caregivers call in sick, no show, or family requests additional shifts. Alert client or designated family member of staffing changes or service interruptions.
  • Alert family or home health aides of client emergencies that will impact the delivery of services such as cancellations, changes in client condition, hospitalization, or death.
  • Document all client care and staffing issues and changes in the Well-Sky scheduling system and on-call log.
  • Alert office staff in retime via text message to group chat about any on-call emergencies or changes to the schedule.
  • Must maintain basic and current knowledge of your clients and aides including scheduling and care needs of clients and aide’s skills and availability. This will require ongoing communication with your office as well as periodic review of the Well-sky system.

Schedule:

Friday 5:00 PM until Monday 7:00 AM

A company laptop will be provided

Fridays $75, Saturday and Sunday $150 per day, Holiday $200

This position is available for every other weekend.
