What you will be responsible for:

Produce machined components by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machine tools; maintaining quality and safety standards; documenting manufacturing processes and changes; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Program, setup, and operate CNC equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprint requirements, including GD&T requirements.

· Troubleshooting and editing CNC programs to adjust for print changes and improve efficiency and cycle time.

· Monitor compliance by observing machining process; taking measurements with various types of measuring equipment; detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming when necessary; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality standards.

· Work with engineering and tooling departments to develop fixturing and tooling necessary to machine components on CNC equipment efficiently.

· Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, troubleshooting malfunctions, and working with service when necessary.

What you need...

Education:

· Completion of related trade school program.

Experience: 

· 2- 4 years of related experience.

Knowledge/Skills:

· Ability to communicate and work effectively with various levels of the organization including engineering, production, scheduling, and management.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

· Must be able to lift 50lbs and move heavier objects with proper lifting equipment.
