Global Technical Recruiters is Hiring an Overhead Crane Operator/Forklift Operator Near Solon, OH
We are currently hiring an Over-Head Crane/Forklift Operator located in Solon. This is a train 1st and then move to 3rd shift.
- 1st shift is 7am-3pm
- 3rd shift is 11pm-7am
Job Duties:
- Operate a crane to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment
- Safely maneuver loads using hand signals or radio communication
- Inspect and maintain the crane to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating the crane
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator or similar role
- Valid certification or license to operate a crane
- Knowledge of crane operation techniques and safety protocols
- Ability to interpret and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
Skills:
- Clamp truck operation
- Forklift operation
- Warehouse supervisor experience
- Heavy equipment operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting
- Lift truck (Hi-Lo) operation skills
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
