THIS POSITION performs a variety of semi-technical, professional duties related to the application submittal, acceptance, review, and issuance of building and site disturbance permits for the Community Development Department.
$19.44 to $23.10 per hour depending on experience

Do you have a high school diploma or equivalent?
Do you have a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training?
Do you have a working knowledge of building construction methods and procedures; building materials common to a variety of construction types; adopted codes ordinances and regulations; building terminology; International family of Codes?
Do you have the ability to understand and read construction and site plans, convey direction, and read maps?
Do you possess or have the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire the ICC Permit Technician Certification?
Do you possess or have the ability to obtain a valid driver’s license and are you insurable?
