General Wholesale Company is a beverage distribution company with three locations in Georgia, one in Spartanburg S.C. and one in Orlando Florida.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing a consistent set of standards at each of the 4 locations in pursuit of the current corporate directives and policies/procedures.

This role also includes the following:

• You will work with the management of each location to increase the effectiveness of the Warehouse Management System.
• You will have the opportunity to oversee the current driver safety structures and programs within each location that are in place while looking to improve on the current policies and procedures. You will have the opportunity to review and enhance the telematics used within the company vehicles.
• You will oversee and coordinate our warehouse safety program to insure we are delivering the best practices training.
• You will have the opportunity to be a part of the insurance claims review process.
• You will be in charge of the fleet and the rotation of costly units out while securing replacement vehicles.
• In this role, you will additionally be involved in verifying several times a year the inventory process and the accuracy of the inventory as represented in the route accounting system.
• Within this role it will be very important for you to have an understanding of the expectations with regards to DOT standards in addition to OSHA safety standards.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with WMS systems.
• A high level of comfort working with a Route Accounting System.
• 5 years of leadership positions managing teams and working with other departments.
• 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• DOT and OSHA exposure is preferred.
