Planet Aid is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Warehouse and Shipping Foreman. This is a confidential job posting for a critical role within our organization. The Warehouse and Shipping Foreman will oversee warehouse operations, manage collection routes, and ensure the efficient processing and transportation of donated items to our processing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, processing, and organizing donated items.
• Coordinate collection routes and placement of bins, ensuring efficient collection of donations.
• Supervise satellite staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Address customer service issues related to donation bins.
• Collaborate with the processing facility to schedule timely transportation of items.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Train and supervise staff as needed.
• Perform collection routes and pick up overflows as required.
• Audit drivers and routes.
• Coordinate truck and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, two-year college degree preferred,
• 3 years of relevant experience (Warehouse/box truck) and 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English.
• Proficient in basic math and computer applications (Microsoft Office, database record-keeping, mapping tools).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize workflow.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds and sustained driving within DOT standards.
• Ability to work in a truck/office/warehouse setting with exposure to elements.
