Description

We are looking for a skilled Storage & Backup Administrator - Level II to join our team. As a Level II Administrator, you will be responsible for designing and administering programs, policies, standards, and guidelines for disaster recovery, ensuring the integrity and security of electronic data and systems. You will also support business resumption planning, coordinate disaster recovery programs, and provide daily operational support for storage and backup technologies. A Secret clearance and Security certification are required for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design and administer programs, policies, and guidelines for disaster recovery.
• Oversee and review testing and implementation of backup and storage technologies to protect electronic data and systems.
• Facilitate organization-wide business resumption planning.
• Assist in coordinating disaster recovery programs across client-server platforms.
• Provide daily operational and sustainment support for storage and backup technologies.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, apply software updates and patches, and replace damaged hardware components.
• Support cybersecurity activities related to storage and backup system accreditation and certification.
• Assist, coordinate, and monitor backup and recovery simulation testing across platforms that receive centralized backup and storage services.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Four (4) years of experience in storage and backup administration.
• Secret clearance is required.
• Security certification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of disaster recovery planning and backup technologies.
• Proficiency in hardware and software for storage and backup.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Capacity analysis and performance monitoring experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to enforcing security policies and standards.
