The Warehouse Associate plays a pivotal role in the efficient functioning of Virtucom's logistics operations. This position is responsible for a range of activities related to receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. The Warehouse Associate will work as part of a dedicated team to maintain inventory accuracy, facilitate swift product turnover, and ensure timely dispatch of goods. This role requires excellent organizational skills, physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
Unboxing and Packing:

• Responsible for unboxing received items and preparing products for shipment, which includes packaging, strapping, and wrapping to ensure safe shipping.
• Handle the creation of boxes and other packaging materials.
• Handle the fulfillment of ground/freight shipments.

• Receive goods following the established process and inventory items in appropriate areas.
• Perform regular inventory checks, maintaining accurate records, and analyzing the warehouse's stock levels.
• Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs.

• Ensure the warehouse and work areas are kept clean and organized daily, including disposing of trash, compacting cardboard, and ensuring products are in the correct locations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

• Follow instructions and guidelines provided by the department lead or core team member.
• Collaborate with the logistics team and other relevant departments to ensure the efficient functioning of warehouse operations.
• Report any issues or concerns to the management promptly.

• Ability to convert from Hourly to Salary after a 90-day probationary period

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or training is a plus.
• Prior experience in a warehouse setting or similar role is preferred.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of inventory management software.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
