This poition can be hybrid out of Fort Collins, CO or 100% remote in the US. This role works on the Salesforce applications team leading the design, implementation, and execution of test plans in support of our Salesforce ecosystem the delivers enterprise scale solutions to our internal and external customers. This position contributes to the maintenance of existing Salesforce platform applications, as well as the architecture and implementation of new solutions. This position collaborates with other engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to enhance our use of Salesforce. Our Salesforce ecosystem is used by many functions at Otter and is a critical component to our sales enablement for both B2B and B2C customers. This engineer has significant experience in developing and maintaining integration, functional, and regression test plans using technologies such as Robot Framework with Browser Library and has experience with automating test execution. This position is critical to our existing and future organic and non-organic growth as a company. The ideal candidate will be someone who can come into our organization and can really help us structure out our quality assurance practice. Develop and implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies to detect problems in software applications and systems software, ensuring alignment with standards and broader IT strategy. Design, create and build test cases and test strategies, along with automation test scripts for one or more assigned software platforms. Convert manual test preparation and processes into automated test preparation and processes to drive efficiency. Work cross-functionally with product and business teams to create functional and non-functional requirements to understand end user needs. Collaborate with the Software Development team understand system requirements and changes to develop and manage the test scenarios for all new development projects. Facilitate functional testing, regression testing, UI testing, and unit testing for all new features in cross browser environments including mobile dev Create and maintain test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow. Collaborate with end users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing, and ensure that system tests are successfully completed and documented, and all problems are resolved. Contribute to software quality assurance architecture, including the creation of meaningful end to end testing across application ecosystems Participate in the development and revision of quality assurance and testing policies, standards, and procedures. May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.
