Premier Building Solutions Inc. is Hiring an Emulsion/Color Tech Near Massillon, OH
- Follow machine specific start up and shut down procedures to prevent damage to the mills.
- Simultaneously operate (2) Industrial Mills for a multi-level, time critical process. This process requires attention to detail - following step-by-step instructions and manual troubleshooting.
- Weigh raw materials required for batches and record lot numbers.
- Run PLC programs for each mill to process batches.
- Constantly monitor machine temperature and amp outputs - manually make machine adjustments as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance of pumps and mills.
- Exposure to liquids up to 300°F requires the use of heat resistant gloves, heat resistant apron, and face shield.
- Use a color spectrophotometer.
- Weighs color pigments in grams and pounds and adds to mixers.
- Perform accurate in-process quality checks and record results.
- Operate a forklift and work on an elevated platform.
- Work directly with QC and R&D personnel.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic algebra.
- 1-3 years of work experience and manufacturing experience preferred.
- Computer skills
- Experience with spectrophotometer.
- Pass color aptitude test.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to troubleshoot with confidence.
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- Ability to stand on a concrete floor, work on an elevated platform, and climb stairs.
- Willing to work over, if necessary, to complete time-critical batches.
