The Winfield at Richmond Heights is a Senior Living community located in Richmond Heights that provides Independent and Assisted Living Services. Our Community promotes a warm and respectful atmosphere for all of our residents and staff.

The Winfield at Richmond Heights is currently searching for a Laundry Aide for immediate hire.

The Main Function of the Laundry Aide position is to wash, dry and put away residents' laundry in a timely manner consistent with equipment. 

The Duties & Responsibilities of the Laundry Aide position include but are not limited to:

• Wash & dry residents' clothing, bedding and towels
• Put residents' clothing, bedding and towels away, ensuring items are returned to correct resident
• Make sure equipment is in proper working condition, inform supervisor if there are any issues with supplies or laundry equipment
• Inform supervisor of supplies needed
• Participate in safety committee, in-service training, and emergency drills
•  Other tasks/duties as assigned

Job Requirements of the Housekeeper position:

• Must present the highest standards of customer service to all residents, family members, co-workers, and visitors 
• Have friendly, outgoing personality and sincere desire to serve the aged
• Must be able to deal with residents under all conditions
• Must be willing to pitch in and work in areas other than housekeeping/laundry
• Must be adaptable to change
• Must have critical thinking ability, must be able to determine solutions to problems that arise
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass new hire physical and have clean background check
