Agility Recovery is seeking a Technical Specialist to join our team in Duluth, GA. Reporting directly to the Manager of Technical Services, the Technical Specialist will be responsible for the baseline configuration deployment, and maintenance of various technologies for Agility Recoverys customers across a variety of industries. You will use a high level of strategic and analytical thinking as you navigate the unique challenges of planning, testing, and deploying IT assets in a disaster recovery environment.

In the role, you will:

  • Support customer events by performing hardware installation, setup, and support for the servers, laptops, desktops, multi-function printers, and tape drives.
  • Facilitate delivery and return of all technology and communication equipment in response to ad hoc member requests for testing as well as unplanned emergency responses.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and keep up to date with software patches, firmware, and device drivers.
  • Interface with customers to provide on-time delivery of our IT solutions.
  • Effectively document infrastructure, procedures, and events.
  • Perform cross-functional duties such as inventory management, physical, and basic systems administration.
  • Leverage opportunities for cross-functional training and responsibilities with peers, including System Administrators and Network Engineers.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to support customer emergencies.

Job Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in technical support, hardware management, and IT maintenance.
  • Military IT MOS, Bachelor's Degree in IT field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to configure and manage Intel based hardware to include RAID, bare-metal restoration, and server OS installation.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks, work well under pressure, be attentive to detail, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to client sites within North America to support customer testing and recoveries.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
