Culver Franchising System, LLC is looking for an Architectural Project Manager. This person will guide Franchisees and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders through the design and construction process for new restaurant construction and building conversion projects. They will develop and maintain restaurant prototypes in alignment with local building and zoning codes along with Culver’s building and brand standards.

Essential Functions Include:
• Collaborate with and educate Franchisees and stakeholders on the design and construction process of their Culver’s restaurant
o Work with franchisee and their architect and engineer providing insights on prototype plans and to ensure compliance with Culver’s building requirements
o Adapt prototype plans to align with local codes and conditions
o Review final documents to ensure compliance with Culver’s building requirements
o Develop preliminary plans with franchisees to gain operational approvals for any non-standard building features
o Lead franchisees in an evaluation of conditions of existing structures and develop a preliminary plan for floor, equipment, seating and exterior aesthetic concepts for a restaurant conversions
o Lead franchisees through improvements to existing restaurants by verifying and documenting conditions and developing priorities and objectives
• Develop, maintain, coordinate and update current and future restaurant prototypes
o Partner with site design team for new construction on building placement, parking plan, landscape areas, drive-thru, and driveway access
o Ensure local zoning requirements and Culver’s design criteria are incorporated

• Bachelor’s degree in an Architectural or related field.
• 5 years experience in commercial building design and construction or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp preferred.
