POSITION SUMMARY:

The Procurement and Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the implementation and evaluation of all supply chain logistics and procurement activities and procedures, including, but not limited to, production planning, material procurement, inventory control, rate setting, outsourcing, vendor selection, and distribution. Evaluates the organization's supply chain performance against projected costs and timelines. Responsible for coordinating supply chain activities across Jindal Films Americas.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works effectively across the organization to ensure successful execution of supply chain support on many integrated efforts.
  • Develop and manage materials planning function for goods and materials needed for Company operations.
  • Create item specific forecasts over a rolling time horizon to be used for ordering and inventory management purposes.
  • Create integrated processes among Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process.
  • Identify systems tools needed to implement planning/forecasting systems. Lead reengineering efforts as it relates to supply chain planning and execution systems.
  • Collaborate with staff, other departments, senior management, and decision makers to share information, problem solve, and to clarify management objectives.
  • Forecasts issues in advance in order to prevent potential impacts; both internally and externally.
  • Manage and supervise staff tasked with creating material requirement plans and/or forecasts.
  • Direct the hiring, training, supervision, mentoring, and performance evaluations of supply chain staff.
  • Establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting.
  • Measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior management.
  • Coordinates development of solutions to complex logistics support problems with other product support functions, customers, and suppliers.
  • Coordinates transportation for the corporation with customer-driven manufacturing timelines.
  • Develops and implements logistics plans inclusive of supplier contracts, routing guidelines, problem resolution and cost containment.
  • Manages third party vendor relationships related to Logistics.
  • Evaluates supply chain needs and selection of shipment modes.
  • Works with carriers and customs brokers to expedite shipments.
  • Improve sourcing for all products for Jindal Films Americas.
  • Implement best in class pricing management and order fulfillment practices to meet productivity & inventory management targets.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the supply base, sourcing practices in product industry and identify sourcing initiatives that deliver differentiated value.
  • Work with the team to ensure efforts are focused on value-added solutions that lead to quality results.
  • Build strong internal and global networks for collaboration to identify and adopt leading-edge ideas that result in increased success.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics and/or Supply Chain. Other disciplines may be accepted, depending on supply chain/procurement knowledge and experience.
  • MBA Preferred
  • SAP ERP experience desired, especially in MM - Material Management, PO management.
  • Advanced in data management and Microsoft software (Excel - Pivot tables, Vlookup and Macro plus PowerPoint. Access is a plus).
  • 5 years of experience required with expertise in procurement processes and best practices.
  • 7 years of managerial experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $97,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
