The Team

The HR department in North America consists of 20 people. We have specialist teams in Recruitment, Learning and Development, and Reward. The HR department are based in offices across North America, working as one team to deliver a holistic service to our fee earning and business services groups.

The Role

You will be joining the team at an exciting stage in our HR transformation with significant investment in our Employee Branding, Employee Value Proposition, Systems and tools to support direct sourcing Systems and tools. As a Recruitment Sourcing Specialist, you would be working alongside our team of recruitment advisors to attract and identify talent. This position will support business services (finance, IT, risk, business development, HR and legal support) and our fee-earning legal practice groups (lawyers, paralegals & legal executives into our various different lines of insurance).

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with Recruitment Manager/Advisors to fill vacancies across North America and liaising with the Recruitment Manager regarding recruitment strategies for specific roles, adhering to fair selection policies and accessibility to all.
  • Identifying high caliber candidates to join Clyde & Co by using direct sourcing, market mapping and research, and best practice research methods.
  • Screening profiles, reviewing resumes, and providing candidate shortlists
  • Maintaining an understanding of different qualifications and jurisdictions
  • Building, developing and maintaining talent pools within our in-house candidate database
  • Keeping up to date with market trends and salary data
  • Conducting 1st round screening calls with candidates
  • Regularly reviewing job boards and other social media platforms that can be used to identify and source new talent.
  • Supporting and covering colleagues as and when required.
  • Proactively contributing to and support ad hoc resourcing project/ process improvements as required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven sourcing experience, ideally gained within the legal or professional services sector - either in-house or agency experience
  • Tenacity to fill our niche skilled vacancies with strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, highly organized and a proactive approach with a supportive, client delivery focused work ethic.
  • Proven ability to use Boolean, LinkedIn, tools for candidate attraction, CRM management and building. ยท Ability to work to deadlines and communicate effectively should those deadlines vary.
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility over all work undertaken with a commitment to supporting the wider needs of a project and not just the immediate task.
  • Team player with a willingness to work collaboratively across the wider Recruitment team.
