Job DescriptionConducts searches for suitable job openings for clients, comparing client qualifications with employer's requirementsDevelops a wide variety of job opportunities for candidatesEstablishes and maintains active and frequent contact employersDevelops and maintains detailed knowledge of the local labor marketEstablishes rapport with area businesses; maintains on-going relationships with businessesWorks with businesses to identify job openings, alternative work activities, and training initiativesAssists employers in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicantsMaintains a current listing of local job opportunitiesKeeps project staff apprised of local business needs and job placement opportunitiesWorks with case management staff to facilitate job placementsEnlists cooperation of community and business leaders to help increase awareness of available workforce services in the communityMaintains follow-up contact with employers to determine satisfaction with services and plan for quality improvementArranges for employers to speak to candidates about employment and employer expectationsSets up job fairs and employer hiring events. Flexible to occasionally work outside of normal business hours for events and/or to meet deadlinesOther duties as assignedQualifications:QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or 2 years work experience in business to business sales, marketing, customer service, staffing or recruitingExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated strong customer service skills.
