Avis/Budget Car Rental of Harrisburg, PA (AERO Corporation), has an exciting Full-Time opportunity for a Rental Sales Agent. The Rental Sales Agent is the face of our company. We are looking for a friendly, reliable & dedicated individual to join our company. This position facilitates the rental process through verification & documentation of all necessary driver information & provide an efficient & timely rental & return experience. This position performs all responsibilities with a focus on the wants & needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

This full-time position offers compensation of $17.00 per hour plus a monthly commission structure.

• This is a full-time position 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday - Friday and Saturday 8:00 - 12:00 PM

This posting is for the Johnstown RD in Harrisburg.

Responsibilities:

• Use company approved sales & service techniques when determining customer needs
• Offer optional products to meet customer wants & needs.
• Prepare all rental & return documents accurately & completely.
• Qualify each customer using our company rental requirement guidelines.
• Review rental parameters with all customers to ensure a complete understanding of our rates & service charges.
• Ensure that the return date & time on the rental agreement is accurate.
• Review all charges at the time of vehicle return.
• Prepare the Rental Agreement and condition report with all required information.
• Answer the phones to assist customers in a friendly, helpful & prompt manner.
• Assist customers by effectively resolving all customer service issues.
• Effective verbal communication skills to communicate with customers, co-workers and management
• Inspects vehicles for cleanliness, damage, and compliance with standards or regulations.
• Assisting with various tasks including vacuuming, washing, and detailing the vehicles
• Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Must have a customer service experience (sales experience preferred, but not required)
• Attention to detail and Multi-tasking is required
• Must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and no more than 2 moving violations in the current 12 month period

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
