Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team. As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting or refinishing by using abrasive materials to remove dirt, rust, and old paint. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for sandblasting by cleaning and masking off areas as needed
- Operate sandblasting equipment to remove dirt, rust, and old paint from surfaces
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures are in place during sandblasting process
- Inspect surfaces after sandblasting to ensure they are clean and ready for painting or refinishing
- Maintain and clean sandblasting equipment after each use
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Sandblaster or in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of construction painting, carpentry, concrete finishing, trim carpentry, plaster, maintenance person work, frame carpentry, and drywall is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material requirements
- Ability to use hand tools and operate sandblasting equipment effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials if required

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions are also compensated.
