This position supports QA Management and leads MHK staff to perform Quality Assurance planning and application testing, using established Quality Assurance methodology and automated testing tools, prior to production implementation/post-production validation and in accordance with the client’s business requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accountable for the Quality Assurance planning and testing of the application for the assigned projects. Performs timely reporting of planning and testing efforts. Achieves and maintains excellent content knowledge of assigned MHK Products 
• With support from QA Manager, QA staff and configuration team, executes test scripts and business flows, for the projects assigned
• Reports the status of planning and testing efforts for the assigned projects on a timely basis to management and clients using data and graphs
• Works and Support Client during their validation phase, triage defects and provide root cause and resolutions (RCA). Attend meetings with Client to ensure everything is running smoothly without any issues
• Reports the status of planning and testing efforts for the assigned projects on a timely basis to management and clients
• Works with developers to facilitate timely test issue resolution during the QA Testing and Pre-production validation
• Collaborates with management to continuously provide input to improve the QA Process.
• Generates and reports to Director of QA/QA Manager all planning and testing task completion via the project management toolset for all assigned projects
• Works with QA Manager to perform other duties and deliverables as assigned.
• Manages the continual evolvement of the regression test library
• Assists Product Support with analysis and verification of software defects reported to determine validity and clarification 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum of 5 years in software testing. 
• Experience in full software development cycle. Experience in using Open Source Tools knowledge (such as test cases repository, defect tracking, SOUP UI, STORM etc.
• Conducting requirements analysis, writing business case, planning and monitoring
• Eliciting requirements and do requirements organization
• Translating and simplifying requirements from clients and documenting requirements
• Experience working in a healthcare environment such as Pharmacy and healthcare products strongly preferred

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management or related field or equivalent experience
• Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• CSTE, CQA, Six Sigma or CMMI certification preferred

 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Onsite collaboration in our Tampa office at least one day per week will be expected.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
