What You'll Be Doing:
As the Campus Recruiting Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our internship program's success. Your responsibilities include:
  • Strategic Ownership: Develop and execute the strategy for Steelcase's internship program, partnering with senior leadership to align the program with our organizational needs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead our campus recruiting team, guiding them towards success in attracting and qualifying top-tier talent and delivering best-in-class Intern experiences.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with academic institutions to build the Steelcase brand on campuses and ensure a pipeline of exceptional interns.
  • Experience Design: Coordinate engaging and meaningful experiences for our Summer Interns, ensuring their time with Steelcase is impactful.
  • Strategic Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to the business, developing strategies to increase diversity and attract top talent for different functional areas.
Who You Are:
We're looking for someone who thrives on building relationships and has a genuine passion for working with students. If leading and mentoring a team while working with diverse backgrounds excites you, this role is perfect. Here's what we're seeking:
  • Background: Experience in Talent Acquisition, University Relations, or a related field.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to organize work, set team objectives, and develop team members to achieve program goals.
  • Project Management: Skilled in project management tools and methodologies to deliver successful programs and events.
  • Data-Driven: Utilize data analytics to evaluate program performance and optimize program effectiveness.
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience: 3 years in intern program management, talent acquisition, experience design, or equivalent military experience.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading others, organizing work, setting team priorities, and mentoring team members.
  • Event Planning: Proven skills in using project management tools and methodologies to create engaging intern experiences.
  • Data Analysis: Experience using data analytics to drive program optimization.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
  • Partnerships: Experience collaborating with Colleges and Universities to build candidate pipelines.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Knowledgeable in candidate sourcing, aligning business requirements with candidate qualifications, and offer processes. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and/or Handshake.
  • Talent Marketing: Understanding of talent marketing tools and how to leverage social media to build strong talent pipelines.

As the Internship Program Leader, you'll manage the Campus Recruiting Team and collaborate closely with the Global Talent Acquisition team, as well as other departments across the organization.
