**Description**

The Senior Architect, Data Warehouse guides and delivers technical design, implementation, and quality assurance for data warehouse projects.

Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:

**Job Duties**

* Define Data warehouse Architecture

* Define Data Integration Architect, integrate, and migrate data from multiple sources, including logical, physical, and dimensional models

* Understand business intelligence needs and reporting requirements to ensure system compatibility

* Provide technical recommendations and engage with partners and other stakeholders throughout the requirements gathering and implementation lifecycle.

* Recommend effective solutions to develop high performance and highly scalable data solutions.

* Provide expertise in one or more of the following: data modeling, database design, data governance or master data management, including the implementation of tools to support these areas.

**Essential Skills**

* Minimum 5 years experience in data warehousing including implementation and delivery, including physical implementation and optimization

* Experience with DW Dimensional/Star Schema design, implementation, and optimization

* Experience with Cloud based DW tools like Snowflake is preferred.

* Experience with SQL tuning is a must

* Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality Services (DQS) is preferred

* Experience with ETL framework design, implementation, and management (Talend, Matillion) is preferred

* Experience with AWS and/or Azure platform is an added advantage

* Expereince with Enterprise Data Catalog tool like Informatica EDC is a plus

* Experience with reporting tools like Tableau, PowerBI and Looker is preferred

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically

* Ability to problem solve effectively, with strong critical thinking skills

* Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

* **Minimum Education:** Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or other related fields of study or equivalent experience
