**Description**

The Inventory Analyst II is responsible for assisting in the production of periodic updates of forecast and budget models containing inventory related metrics, consolidating occupancy forecasts from various segments as well as assisting in the creation/refresh of various audits and reports. This position is assigned a portfolio of resorts for which most tasks/duties will be related to but may perform other ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**

* Produce a monthly 2-year forecast of inventory distribution based on estimates of ownership, club membership, trust loads, exchange activity and various program needs to serve as the foundation of the occupancy forecast. Provide variance analysis for any significant changes.

* Consistently evaluate inventory allocations to promote maximum use and support of business goals. Ensure inventory allocations and out-of-service blocks maintain alignment with forecast models and contractual obligations. Identify and mitigate any allocation/availability risks.

* Gather and analyze appropriate data to develop Exchange inventory cede and bulk deposits that balance Exchange provider needs with Owner, Member and Rental demand.

* Compile and distribute various reports pertaining to key inventory metrics such as allocation, utilization, occupancy, and arrivals as well as various audit reports. Some new report generation as needed.

* Compile occupancy forecasts from various segments into one financial model for distribution to various stakeholders within the organization. Responsible for implementing model enhancements while maintaining consistency with all connected models.

**REQUIREMENTS:**

* Bachelors degree preferred

* Experience with Excel based models and/or Pivot Tables, Macros, and formulas including Lookup, SumIf and other If statements

* Prior timeshare or hospitality experience preferred

* Analytical ability and detail oriented with a strong desire for accuracy

* Experience with various systems and tools including Microsoft Excel and reporting tools such as SQL, Business Objects and Power BI

* Should possess a natural curiosity to understand the why behind business performance

* Ability to take the initiative to uncover and resolve potential issues
