Substance Use Outpatient Program Director
This is a management position with responsibilities for oversight of clinical services and administrative operations, including direct and indirect supervision and management of all staff at the facility. Evaluates, develops, and implements all clinical programming and administrative processes of the facility, as well as ensuring the daily structure and overall integrity of the facility and its operations.

Qualifications:
-Education
Master's Degree in a behavioral health-related field, human services, education, or communications. 2 years supervisory experience in substance use treatment.
OR
Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health-related field, human services, education, or communications. 3 years supervisory experience in substance use treatment.
OR
Associate's Degree in a behavioral health-related field, human services, education, or communications. 4 years supervisory experience in substance use treatment.
-A thorough knowledge and understanding of substance use recovery and treatment modalities.
- Prior training and demonstrated skills in the evaluation, diagnosis and referral of individuals with substance use disorders.
-Working knowledge of the DDAP regulations which govern the operations of substance use outpatient facility.
-A comprehensive understanding of the treatment process from intake to discharge and the documentation requirements (State/DDAP, Federal, managed care organization, Wedge) for the treatment process.
-Strong computer skills and ability to generate reports using clinical and billing data; Experience with Excel, electronic health records, Outlook, ZOOM/Microsoft Teams is a must.
ABOUT WEDGE RECOVERY CENTERS
Wedge Recovery Centers has been providing mental health and substance use treatment since 1994, offering services to individuals in the Community Behavioral Health (CBH) system at our seven locations in Philadelphia. The Wedge continuum of services encompasses adult outpatient and intensive outpatient substance use treatment, an opioid treatment program (including medication-assisted treatment), early intervention for adolescents at risk for substance use, outpatient mental health services for adults, adolescents and children, and community-integrated recovery centers (CIRC; a hybrid psychiatric rehabilitation program) for adults and older adults. In 2016, Wedge was designated as an Opioid Use Disorder Center of Excellence by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In 2018, Wedge was designated an Evidence-Based Practice Provider by CBH. Wedge is also widely-recognized as a provider of services to underserved communities, with staff who represent diverse cultures and speak at least seven languages in addition to English.
