Crossroads YMCA is seeking a dynamic Community Health Director to pioneer innovative, data-driven health intervention programs. In partnership with local hospitals, you will be instrumental in enhancing the well-being of our community members, making lasting impacts through strategic leadership and compassionate engagement.
POSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Under the direction of the COO, the Community Health Director (CHD) is initially responsible for leading and implementing all daily operations associated with our Y Health initiative and will work towards implementation of a progressive array of evidence-based health intervention programs. This role includes but is not limited to providing support and guidance to participants and staff, coordinating classes, and ensuring that each program achieves quality performance outcomes. This hands-on position will work with clinically referred clients in achieving their goals in partnership with branch wellness teams. The CHD is strategically guided by the COO, YMCA operating principles, Association Leadership Norms and must operate in a manner consistent with our organizational values. The CHD is a vital member of YMCA leadership staff and a highly visible representative of the YMCA mission, core values and are accountable for knowing and properly executing all YMCA policies and procedures.
