Four Rivers, established in 2003, is located in Ontario, Oregon. Four Rivers has been recognized as a High-Achieving Dual Language Immersion Program and serves students in a K-5 Community School, a 6-8 Jr. Preparatory School, and a 9-12 Sr. Preparatory School/Early College High School. Four Rivers is a member of the Oregon School Activities Association in the 1-A-8 High Desert League
Position:
Four Rivers Community School is currently seeking a Varsity Girls Basketball Coach for the 2024-2025 season.
Qualifications:
● Ability to manage the Four Rivers Basketball season program and athletes.
● Ability to work collaboratively with school administration and other coaches.
● Three or more years of competitive basketball coaching experience is preferred.
Duties:
● Prepare athletes for competition through practice, fundamentals, and knowledge of rules.
● Practice and expect superior levels of sportsmanship.
● Have an understanding of John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success for athletes.
● Care and management of basketball equipment.
● Care and Cleanliness of Four Rivers basketball gym.
● Coordination with administration for athlete transportation.
● Assist Athletic Director with scheduling matches.
● Routinely communicate with Athletic Director, Parents and Student Athletes.
● Recruit current Four Rivers students for the basketball program.
● Maintain a consistent 5-day week practice/game schedule and attend all practices and games.
● Commitment to the academic success of Student Athletes.
● Adherence to the rules and policies of OSAA and Four Rivers Community School.
Compensation:
Salary Range is $4,500-$5,500 for the season based on previous experience, education, specialty, and/or known knowledge base.
