ABOUT THE ROLE

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist II is responsible forsupporting Electo-Mechanical team of ~10 Commodity Managers and working closelywith Law/Contracts, VMI, Procurement, and other cross-functions. Accountablefor analyzing metrics related to direct material productivity, working capital(payment terms, pay cycle, VMI), Contracting, dual sourcing and HGRpenetration, and the performance of each supplier. This position also shadowsand supports Sr Managers with exposure to the Commodity Manager role. Thisposition is a critical element of the success of the entire team supporting alltactical work for the success of the team, meeting and exceeding the Teamsmetrics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct support to Sourcing Team with commercial/compliance Contract package management
• Support Cross-Functional Teamwork with Law/Contracts, VMI, Procurement, and other cross-functions
• Provide data analytics to large amounts of data in support of Strategic decision making
• Support new supplier setups, NDA management, and be a system expert (LEAP, Compass, AECS, HASP, AeroCMS)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, and other internet based systems to be successful in role
• Work with Internal Sourcing, business and other stakeholders for Procure to Payment process
• Relocation support may be provided 

MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 years’ experience in supply chain management, ie, procurement, project management, sourcing and/or planning/scheduling
• Ability to work at a Honeywell site in Tempe AZ
