Job Requirements:
- Experience in a high volume call center
- Experience and knowledge of health insurance plans
- Experience in Provider Services
- Strong customer service skills
- Responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with providers. Duties include, but are not limited to; Able to answer questions about (member services) eligibility/benefits/admin, claims inquiries and (provider services) claims inquiries, authorizations, appeal status, eligibility etc.
- Responsible for all areas of customer service as it pertains to research and resolution of telephone inquiries related to Plan prescription benefits, eligibility or claim payment issues. Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education.
- Handle (average) 50-70 inbound calls daily Sentara Health Plans is the health insurance division of Sentara Healthcare doing business as Optima Health and Virginia Premier
- This position is primarily remote, only requiring employees to go into the office 2-3 times a month.
- Equipment witll be provided for the representative.
- Pay: 17-19 per hour
