You may alsooperate off-road dump trucks and small mechanized earthmoving equipment. Yourjob activities will also include performing frequent pulling and pushing,frequent lifting to 45 lbs., occasional up to 75 lbs., use of small hand tools,and the use of a respirator. During this period you are expected to learn installationtechniques and what it takes (labor, equipment and materials) to complete thosetasks efficiently, safely and to specifications. You will be expected to learnthe surveying techniques we employ to build our projects and the GPS gradecontrol systems that we own. In addition, you will:Assist with project scopesAttend site walks for bid preparationAssist with bid preparationAssist with project start up and oversightAssist with construction survey and GPS equipmentAssist with completing all project paperwork thoroughly andtimelyAssist with vendors and/or subcontractors on pricing Assist with ensuring and executing that the project is in compliance with allapplicable laws, safety guidelines, regulations, contract requirements andcompany policies and procedures Assist with maintaining profitability goals for assignedprojects Maintain the highest of ethical and safety standards at alltimes QualificationsBS in Civil Engineering or Construction ManagementLarge scale hands-on earthwork experience...highways, landfill capping/construction, or, streams restorationAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
