Sales and Event Manager

Movie Bowl Grille is hiring! We want a Sales and Event manager to join our team who is excited to sell and manage events at a state-of-the-art entertainment center. We are looking for a Sales and Event manager to oversee and organize events that will make an impact to a target audience. You’ll ensure events are successful and leave guests wanting to book their next event. You'll spend time in the field speaking with businesses and schools about events and making sales. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organizational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.

Responsibilities

• Plan event from start to finish according to requirements, target audience, and objectives
• Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
• Sales in field to increase corporate and school bookings
• Coordinate all operations related to events
• Lead promotional activities for the event
• Supervise all staff (party hostesses and sales associates)
• Approve all aspects before the day of the event
• Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
• Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports
• Report to Facility General Manager
• Report to Corporate Marketing and Sales team to coordinate initiatives and brainstorm new ideas.

Skills

• Proven experience as event manager
• Skilled in project management
• Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management
• Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
• Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• A knack for problem-solving
• Customer-service orientation
• A team player with leadership skills
• PR, marketing, hospitality management, or related field experience is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sales: 1 year (Required)
