TSG has an immediately available opportunity for a Senior NOC Engineer to join an established medical provider in Downtown San Diego. This engineer will be a subject matter expert of our environment and manage tasks related to disaster recovery and business continuity plans. responsible for monitoring maintaining the networking environment focusing on security controls and ensuring they are properly set in place. This infrastructure is comprised of Windows and Linux servers, MS SQL, IIS, Apache, Azure SaaS/PaaS, Microsoft 365, VMware virtualization, Active Directory, mobile devices (BYOD and corporate owned), HPE/Aruba, Meraki, VeloCloud and IoT medical devices.

Duties and Essential Responsibilities

• Oversees organization's network operation and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and vendors.
• Manages system backups, Disaster Recovery, and critical file system restoration.
• Serves as top technical escalation point for system and network incidents.
• Plans, designs, installs, and monitors network extensions for new sites and equipment.
• Evaluates Internet, Intranet, and cloud usage for performance and security compliance.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting of servers, storage, VMware, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and Azure.
• Collaborates with vendors on technical incidents and stays updated on industry trends.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Information Systems and network management.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft MCSA, Cisco CCNP.

Experience/Specialized Skills:

• Expertise in network management, TCP/IP troubleshooting, and various hardware/software technologies.
• Strong leadership, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality work.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Self-sufficient, innovative, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Extensive training in server and network hardware/software, including MS Solutions, VMware, and Azure.
• Expert troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in network and system design.
