Job DescriptionThe Vehicle Performance Engineer (VPE) will assume responsibility for the development of the voice of the customer, setting technical objectives, and conducting development/validation testing for an assigned vehicle project. Leading a functional area (Body, Interior, or Electrical), the VPE will oversee the development and execution within that functional domain on a specific vehicle project. Establishing Vehicle Functional Objectives and Validation Plans (DVP&R), the VPE will play a key role in supporting new feature integration and participating in tech clubs to ensure consistent execution across various vehicle lines. Additionally, the VPE will take the lead in the issue resolution process, assembling cross-functional engineering teams to identify root causes and establish corrective action plans.
