Position Description
Mutual Materials is currently seeking to hire a full time Customer Success Representative for our Residential Sales department. This position will focus on maintaining and developing longstanding relationships with designers, builders, and contractors in the Puget Sound region. The Customer Success Representative will assist customers on the phone, and in the field, interacting effectively across all departments and channels of our Company.
Our ideal candidate is someone who can thrive on a job site and in a professional setting. We need someone who can present samples with confidence in front of designers, homeowners, and contractors.
We want someone who is enthusiastic about serving our clients and learning about our industry. This position will be based out of our Olympia or Port Orchard branch and will require frequent local travel.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain contact with assigned customers to promote our products, develop brand loyalty and keep Mutual Materials products a viable option for building solutions.
  • Work closely with branch sales personnel to ensure customers are adequately serviced within the territory
  • Create and adapt plans that can meet evolving market conditions and emerging opportunities
  • Consistently communicate with team members to share critical customer, project, and industry information
  • Assist Sales Manager with ongoing market and customer analysis
Other Duties
  • Provide samples and literature to the designer/builder community
  • Participate in segment trade and home shows
  • Participate in customer or industry events
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
  • Previous Direct sales or customer service experience in the building industry or a related field is preferred, but not required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment demanding strong organization, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Proven track record of nurturing and growing both existing and new accounts preferred, but not required.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in growing revenue through customer engagement preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to work well in a team and independently
  • High level of integrity and desire to work in a dynamic, strategically driven environment.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
  • Local travel within territory required
