Our client is seeking an Access Control Specialist in Weehawken, NJ.

Role Description

Responsibilities include reviewing and assessing exceptions and risks for requests across multiple domains: Internet, Client Data, Critical and Sensitive business applications. This role requires experience in analyzing data and the ability to create and maintain metrics, navigate through Access Management tools and procedures used by the organization and globally. This role requires interaction with individuals, within Business & Technology, at multiple levels of the organization.

• Oversee the process to create, modify and retire entitlements

• Provide support to the line managers, role owners and business application owners in managing user entitlement

• Manage End User Entitlement reviews of all SOX, Critical and Sensitive applications

• Manage internet user access exceptions, which includes reviewing requests for appropriateness

• Oversee the creation and modification of roles

• Ensure that entitlements are correctly defined by the role owners and that roles do not over privilege the users

• Check that role descriptions are clear, concise and adequately explain the purpose of the role

• Navigate through Access Management tools, including enhancements and stability to reflect control updates, changes to business models and other findings

• Maintain Share Drive and SharePoint site and operational materials for the initiatives

• Maintain project plan and schedule for third party entitlements. Ensure they are integrated and aligned to overall strategy. Reconcile access rights for third party entitlements

• Maintain various procedures and keep web pages current

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate degree in a business or technology related field

• Experience in an access control management function

• Basic IT Knowledge preferrable

• High degree of diligence - attention to detail and ability to follow through / follow-up is critical

• Flexible self-starter who is also a team player. Exceptional ability to collaborate and openly communicate

• Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)

• Proficient in Excel (basic formulas, pivot tables, etc.) & PowerPoint. Experience using and maintaining SharePoint sites

• Demonstrated experience delivering results in an ambiguous and changing environment, the ability to work independently

• Sound judgment and decision-making skills, ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, and ability to work under deadline pressure

• Knowledge of industry standard methodologies and tools

• Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for driving execution at a detail level when necessary while maintaining the ability to see the big picture

• Must be self-motivated, proactive, and possess ability to maintain attention to details
