Responsible for computer abstracting of cancer cases to meeting American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACOS) and Florida Cancer Data Systems (FCDS) requirements. Maintains a computerized master file and accession register. Perform a variety of duties involved in the organization, oversight, and documentation of a cancer registry in an ACOS accredited program.Required Qualifications:
- Require a minimum of one (1) year of experience in a Cancer Registry-related position.
- Require the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) Cancer Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification.Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and utilize demonstrated organizational skills.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to multi-task and keep current with ongoing projects and time restraints.
- Prefer demonstrated computer experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office System.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and utilize organizational skills.
- Prefer working knowledge of all functions of a Cancer Registry.Mandatory Education:
