Internal Sales Manager

The Internal Sales Manager position plays a vital role in leading our Sales Team of 5-7 people, while also attaining their own goals with incentives, concentrating on growing key accounts. This person will be an important part of the hiring, and training of all sales representatives as we expand the current sales team. The Internal Sales Manager will also be responsible for the leadership and successes, thru mentoring and motivating the team. Certain key accounts and new business opportunities will be assigned to the Internal Sales Manager for special handling.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales team , providing consistent direction on opportunities, accounts, customers, and projects.
  • Manage the Sales Funnel commission program.
  • Manage all daily processes relating to the sales team, including their individual goals, as they impact the entire group effort.
  • Assist to facilitate sales visions and company directives within the sales team.
  • Assist in creating quarterly goals and objectives for the sales team, in conjunction with an overall budget.
  • Manage sales reporting functions with the BDD , to motivate the sales team weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Manage and attend 3-5 industry trade shows per year, as needed.
  • Oversee sales team processes working to improve and implement them, as well as training to ensure your team understands all processes and expectations to follow them.
  • Quickly gain fluid knowledge of Netsuite, ensuring all CRM processes and procedures are properly followed by the sales team.
  • Provide support and leadership for any customer service-related concerns by working closely with the customer service team.
  • Responsible for training and leadership over entire sales team, and all aspects of the sales process.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and/or account management.
  • CRM experience required. Netsuite experience a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret sales numbers, projections, and goals.
  • Key Account or Special Projects experience preferred.
  • Trade show experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, coordinate projects, and delegate team deliverables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess strong management skills and the ability to delegate tasks efficiently.
