Are you a seasoned SQL Server professional with a passion for optimizing database performance and ensuring seamless server operations? Join our dynamic team as our SQL Server Administrator and take the lead in architecting, managing, and fine-tuning our SQL Server environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• SQL Server Administration Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in SQL Server administration, ideally holding an MCP in SQL Server Administration. Leverage your expertise in configuring and tuning SQL Server to maintain optimal performance.
• Comprehensive SQL Server Knowledge: Exhibit advanced knowledge of SQL Server, including hands-on experience with High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Multi-Server Administration (MSX). Familiarity with SQL Server 2008 R2 through at least SQL Server 2019 is essential.
• Database Architecture and Design: Showcase the ability to architect SQL Server environments and design databases. Your role will involve reviewing and providing constructive feedback on development changes, ensuring optimal performance.
• T-SQL Mastery: Possess strong T-SQL skills, capable of reading, writing, and modifying stored procedures and functions. Collaborate with administration and development teams, pinpointing and resolving issues impacting performance.
• PowerShell Proficiency: Benefit from your knowledge and experience with PowerShell, as it will be advantageous for various tasks and jobs within our environments.
• Self-Starter Mentality: Operate as a self-starter who requires minimal supervision. Take ownership of SQL Server-related tasks and proactively contribute to the team's success.
• Database Programming and Administration: Demonstrate hands-on experience in database programming and administration, utilizing standard database tools such as SSMS and SQL Profiler.
• Redgate Tools Familiarity: Experience with Redgate tools, such as SQL Monitor and SQL Clone, will be an added advantage.
• Education and Certifications: Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, with a preference for SQL certifications. Showcase your commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
