Description
The Mail Services Clerk specializing in data entry is responsible for sorting, scanning and processing data for system entry.
Responsibilities
Clerical
- Organize, sort and file records.
- Data Entry/Individual Matching.
- Photocopy documents.
- Scan and file documents electronically.
- Purge files into storage.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Work cooperatively with other team members
- Actively participate in team meetings and training activities.
- Perform additional responsibilities and projects as periodically assigned.
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in office/ mail room setting helpful.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to operate a personal computer, photocopier and scanner.
- Ability to type at least 35 wpm.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word and Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to deal professionally with different types of personalities in person.
- Ability to work independently / also as part of a team.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include in-office and remote work.
