Assistant Logistics Coordinator
WeLink Transport LLC is a transportation business with headquarters in New Jersey, USA that handles container drayage, intermodal freight, truckload, and less-than-truckload freight, refrigerated freight, dedicated local and long hauls in the Northeastern, Midwestern and Southeastern regions of the USA. We are looking for a highly organized candidate with excellent communication skills, with an eye for detail and an aptitude for technology. The Assistant Logistics Coordinators main role would be to assist the Terminal Manager in running the day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities for this role
Assists in building schedules for ongoing deliveries
Dispatches fleet
Assists in monitoring shipment status
Ensures accuracy of orders and shipping documents
Provides customers with regular updates on their shipment status
Maintains accurate and consistent equipment records
Addresses customers’ queries in a timely manner
Skills and qualifications
Fluent in English
Excellent organizational capacity
Research and analysis skills
Collaborative attitude
Solution-oriented mindset
Ability to multitask
Preferred qualifications
Previous experience in using dispatch management software, such as PCS
Previous experience in customer service
Previous experience with warehouse and transportation management
