As an ‘Project Management Support’ – join S2 Analytical Solutions in supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) for the Foundation GEOINT Integrated Program Office (IPO) at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)

Job Overview: As a Project Management Support you will play a critical role in planning, managing, and executing programs and projects, ensuring their success from inception to completion. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating performance, identifying risks, and providing comprehensive recommendations to government stakeholders. You will contribute to the creation and assessment of program documents, financial management plans, and acquisition documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Duties:

  • Provide strategic advice and assistance to government stakeholders in planning and executing programs and projects.
  • Support the entire lifecycle of designated efforts, from concept development to deactivation and disposal.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and coordination of financial management plans, budget execution, and program finance-related issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of acquisition documentation and support new acquisitions and follow-on contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure seamless integration and coordination of program activities.
  • Participate in major program milestones, identifying programmatic issues and proposing effective solutions.
  • Create program documents, plans, and other related artifacts as well as review, evaluate, and assess existing requirements, documents, plans, and other related artifacts for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Provide expertise in Agile program management methods and assist in process improvements.
  • Support IPO leadership in responding to senior leadership requests and contributing to strategy improvements.
  • Maintain IPO roadmap in accordance with NGA policies.
  • Provide Agile program management expertise for acquisition programs.
  • Assist government program managers with funding inquiries from NGA, OUSD(I), DNI, and Congress.
  • Aid in drafting and defending Overseas Contingency Operations Funds and IPO unfunded requirements.
  • Offer support across IPO, prioritizing high-priority tasks and providing surge support as needed.
  • Enhance awareness of Foundation GEOINT IPO activities.
  • Contribute to IPO strategy enhancements.
  • Support IPO leadership in addressing senior leadership requests.
  • Coordinate documentation for finalizing the Statement of Capabilities (SOC).
  • Compile data and draft the Intelligence Capability Baseline Description (ICBD).
  • Develop Program Office Estimate (POE) to assist NGA CAPE in preparing Agency Cost Position (ACP) for DNI submission.
  • Coordinate with various IPO stakeholders for SOC approval.
  • Assist IPF leadership in generating additional Milestone artifacts for MSA review.
  • Prepare SOC and ICBD briefings for senior leadership and assist in their presentation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Demonstrated specialized experience in NGA, DoD, or other IC Agencies acquisition processes and procedures.
  • Proven track record in program/project management and applying systems engineering processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business, computer science, or engineering-related field.
  • Certification as a Program/Project Management Professional or DAWIA certification (level III) in IT, PM, or SPRDE, or certified Scaled Agile Framework Agilist (SA).
